FAQ

You’ve got questions? We’ve got answers.

Read below, and always feel free to ask your physician consult any questions you may have during your medical screening.

How long will a therapy take?

Depending on your selection, usually between 30-60 minutes.

What is “intravenous fluid”?

IV (intravenous) simply means “within vein” or inside the vein. By accessing this location, we can administer fluid allowing us to bypass the gut and liver breakdown processes, therefore providing nutrients that are either poorly absorbed in those locations, or lost to metabolism. This is similar to what is used in hospitals and clinics for hydration and therapies.

This sounds scary, does it hurt?

Our experienced team has had years of practice in placing IVs and managing IV therapies. We use topical anesthetics and vascular visualization to give you the most comfortable experience possible.

How soon can you expect to feel better?

Often during the therapy when the fluids are running.
For a booster shot, absorption takes a bit longer, but you can often feel the effects within a day.

Who administers the therapies?

Licensed nurses and physicians will administer all of your care and treatments.

Where do you get these therapies?

You can now come visit us at our relaxing medical spa at 2900 Camino Boulevard, Suite #200; Walnut Creek, California or arrange to receive your therapy within the comfort of your home, hotel, spa, or gym.

Do you have a location that we can come to?

Yes! We have recently opened our first medical spa in Walnut Creek, at 2900 Camino Diablo, Suite 200.

This is near the intersection of Interstate 680 and Highway 24, close to the Acalanes High School in Lafayette.

What are the risks associated with this?

Any time your skin “barrier” is broken there is a chance of infection, however the risk is low and we follow strict sterility guidelines for IV placement. Your consulting physician will determine if our IV therapy is appropriate and beneficial for you based on your personal history and physical condition.

How is this treatment tailored to my needs?

Each treatment has components that have been shown through research and experience to give relief for the associated complaints.  With a medical screening exam provided by our experts, we will be able to assess what therapy is a good match for you. Explore our treatment regimens or contact us to learn how we can help you maximize your wellness.

Is your athletic performance therapy compliant with WADA international standards ?

All of our infusions, booster shots, and nutrients comply with WADA standards. If you are a professional athlete, we can adjust your infusion to ensure that you do not violate their limitations of IV fluids.

How often can you use this?

As often as you feel it is needed and that our expert physicians feel is appropriate for your body and demands or illnesses, often this is from once a week to once a month.

Can you tell me why I do not feel well?

We are not a service that diagnoses diseases, but can discuss your medical history, and inform you why you may benefit from this therapy, or why you might not be a good candidate.

How much does it cost?

View our pricing page. Costs can range from $39 to $249, and there is a concierge fee based on your distance from our office in Walnut Creek. If we come to you, you can save hours of your precious time waiting for similar treatment in emergency room lobbies, and care for you in the comfort of your own home. We only deal with clients, not with third-party payers, and can provide you with a copy of your receipt should your therapy qualify for your flex spending account.

How long does a booster shot take?

The shot takes just a second, but your safety is our highest priority, so we ask that you wait for fifteen minutes after the injection, so that we can ensure you do not have any unforeseen reaction.

Is there any reason I shouldn't get this?

Vivify does not provide services to anyone under the age of 18. This therapy is not appropriate for anyone with serious heart, kidney, or liver conditions, for example those on dialysis.

How much is the concierge cost?

Our concierge costs are $250 if within a 10 mile radius, and $50 for each 10 miles after that. We can provide you the convenience of getting a treatment, within the comfort of your own house or hotel, without having to get out of your pajamas!
